Preparing for Mildura

The Officer Secondary College LSDA team are busily preparing to head off to Mildura for our first session face to face. We have completed some excellent readings and begun to familiarise ourselves with twitter, blogging and using Adobe Voices to create a 60 second film about Our Ideal School. We will put our film on the website also.

we are also considering our personal projects. I am thinking about including a blog on the website that we can post news as it happens from me, and with teacher and student input.

Team at Officer SC start Bastow course LSDA

A very exciting week at Officer secondary College. We have begun our Bastow course Leading Schools in the digital Age. Funny thing is, is that with ours being a brand new school, with Stage 2 still being built, i feel like our kids and many young staff are the Digital Natives and i am the uber-learner! So stay tuned for our trials and efforts at truly using technology to engage our young people in the learning. Watch this space!!!
